Two armed robberies at Needs stores in Moncton
Two men have been arrested in connection with what police say are a pair of unrelated armed robberies at Needs Convenience stores in Moncton.
RCMP say a man entered the store on Mountain and Atkinson Roads around 2 p.m. Sunday and left on foot with cash, but turned himself in to police Monday.
Officers responded to the store on Mountain Road and Archibald Street around 12:20 a.m. Monday after a man entered with a gun and demanded cash, fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount.
A 34-year-old man was later arrested.
Police say there were no injuries in either incident.
