Two electric school buses added to N.B. fleet
The provincial government says a pair of new school buses have been added to its fleet of electric vehicles.
The buses will be used in the Moncton area as a pilot project; one assigned to the Anglophone East School District, the other to the Francophone South School District.
Treasury Board President Roger Melanson says the students who ride these buses on the first day of school will become part of New Brunswick history.
he adds that travelling on electric buses to school every day will hopefully inspire them to incorporate green-friendly initiatives into their family lives.
