**Updated** Missing St. George man found safe: RCMP

RCMP say the 22-year-old St. George man, who was reported missing on Friday, has been located and is safe.


RCMP are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 22-year-old man from St. George. 

Police say Nicholas McGuigan was last seen leaving his home on South Street around 6:30 a.m. on Friday 

They say his family saw him heading into the wooded area behind his home. 

McGuigan is described as standing 5'8" tall, weighing approximately 150 lbs with short strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a large camping back pack, a blue hooded sweatshirt with red and white stripes on the sleeves, beige pants, and blue sneakers. 

Police and his family say they're concerned for his well-being. 

A search is being conducted in a wooded area where he was last seen with the assistance of Charlotte County Ground Search and Rescue, while RCMP Police Dog Services and the RCMP Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) are being deployed.
