Woodstock police investigate home invasion
The Woodstock Police Force is looking for three suspects after a home invasion earlier this week.
In a news release Friday, deputy police chief Dan Goodwin said it happened at 678 Main Street early Wednesday morning.
Goodwin said three men – two wearing masks and one carrying a baseball bat – broke into an apartment, but left after being confronted by the occupants.
"The masks were the 'skeleton or skull' type masks, one mask was black and grey and one was black and red," said Goodwin.
Nothing was taken in the incident and no one was hurt, said police.
Goodwin said an attempted break-in at a second apartment in the same building is believed to be connected.
He said investigators don't believe the incident was a random act, and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
