Woodstock woman arrested following fatal collision in Temple

A 44-year-old Woodstock woman has been arrested following a fatal collision in Temple over the weekend.

The West District RCMP received a report of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on Temple Road around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

A 44-year-old man from Lower Hainesville, who was driving the motorcycle, died, and police say the car involved in the crash was not at the scene when officers arrived.

The woman was later taken into custody, and has since been released on a promise to appear in Woodstock Provincial Court on November 28th.

There's no word from RCMP yet on what charges the woman might be facing.

The RCMP say alcohol is believed to have been a factor.

Police are also looking to speak to two people in a white pickup truck in the Temple area around 8 p.m. who stopped to help a red Toyota Corolla that had gone off the road.
