WorkSafeNB appoints new president and CEO
WorkSafeNB has appointed a new president and CEO.
The organization says Douglas Jones will begin his five-year term on March 26th.
A news release from WorkSafeNB says Jones recently served as Deputy City Manager for the City of Edmonton and has over 20 years of leadership experience in both the public and private sectors.
He succeeds Gerard Adams, who served as president and chief executive officer from 2012 to 2016.
The position has been vacant since October 31st, 2016, and has been covered on an acting basis by Tim Petersen, WorkSafeNB's vice-president of Corporate Services.
