Boil water order ends in Doaktown after nearly three weeks
There's relief for many Doaktown residents who have spent the better part of three weeks boiling their water.
Village officials said Friday that the boil water order that was in effect for part of Main Street, as well as most side streets west of the Doaktown Bridge, has been lifted.
That means residents no longer have to boil their water before consuming it.
The boil order first went into effect on May 1 due to high turbidity levels.
