City accepting applications for annual arts, culture and heritage funding program
Applications are open for the 2019 City of Fredericton Arts, Culture and Heritage Funding Program.
The city says the funding is designed to encourage new projects or activities in the creative arts, culture and heritage sectors.
Non-profit arts, culture, ethno-cultural and heritage organizations are eligible for small grants to assist with festivals, events, series, projects and shared equipment.
The city says the program was established in 2001, and since then support has been provided to a variety of cultural projects and events including, music, theatre and film festivals, exhibitions, artists in-residency programs, theatre productions, heritage publications, concert series, workshops and demonstrations.
The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. on Friday February 15 and application forms and guidelines can be found on the City of Fredericton website by searching "Grants".
