This Guy Just Got A $235 Transit Ticket for the Weirdest Reason
A man who plays Despacito on his accordion is dividing Toronto transit riders
One of the two brothers who became known for playing the hit song on the subway was told his music interferes with "ordinary enjoyment of the transit system."
Had the pleasure of crossing paths with this man last week! His music brought the most smiles and laughter I’ve ever seen on trip with the TTC? https://t.co/xmx330Z5qu— Ali Bell (@aliderynbell) May 1, 2018
The officers showed him media clips of him and his brother as they issued him with an infraction notice. The brothers had been warned a few times previously. When a train arrived, the officers then ushered him aboard and stood nearby as he meekly sat down.
The individual was fined for violating our By-Law 1 https://t.co/6XwKbzpxNS . If they would like to play music in the Subway there is a designated location and they have to have a license as well https://t.co/0QD95xZE5F ^HK— TTC Customer Service (@TTChelps) May 1, 2018
Do you think he deserves the ticket?
Awesome or annoying?
