YYC to Get Glowing Streets?
IT'S LIT. Well not yet. But it could be?
City Officials are looking at using glowing paint on the outskirts of the city like Macleod Trail, south of 162nd Avenue S.
HOPEFULLY, it’s gonna save the city money in the long run because it saves on electricity and infrastructure costs .
Downtown could possibly get reflective beads added to the paint to further increase visibility,
Some of the paint used in Europe absorbs sunlight during the day to cast a glow at night.
Best part about it? It wouldn’t cost city taxpayers; theyre actually looking for a grant for $30,000 grant from a private consultant’s innovation fund.
Oh I know what that means, I saw Ozark!
What do you think about the glowing streets, can we call them rave streets?
