Edmonton New Years Fireworks Starting At 9PM At Legislature Grounds

The city of Edmonton has decided to switch things up this year by changing the time of the fireworks display on New Years Eve. This year the fireworks will be going on 9am instead of midnight and will be taking place at the Legislature Grounds. Part of the reason they changed the time is to make it easier for families who have small children. They said last year they did two firework displays, one at 8:30pm and the other at midnight. They noticed there was a much bigger turn out for the 8:30pm display which is why they are changing the time. You can read more about it here. What are your thoughts?
