Mariah Carey's Cringeworthy New Year's Eve Performance

Mariah Carey performed in Time's Square for New Year's Eve as part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. However, it didn't go as flawlessly as you'd expect...actually not flawless at all. It started with a beautiful rendition of "Auld Lang Syne" (which may have been lip synced judging by the rest of the show).

She attempted to perform her 1991 hit "Emotions" which only lasted seconds before she stopped singing and started saying things like "We can't hear.", "We're missing some of these vocals, but it is what it is." and "Let the audience sing."

Once that train wreck was over. She moved into her 2005 chart topper, "We Belong Together" which at first seemed like she pulled a full 360 for the better. However, she stopped singing several times as the audience still heard the vocals. Clearly caught lipsyncing, she said "It doesn't get any better" and walked off stage.

Disatrous, Cringeworthy, and Nightmare are three of the words to desribe her performance. Well Mariah... New Year, New You......right?
