Toronto Transit Will Write You A Late Note After Delay, Should Edmonton Too?
No-one likes being late for work. I mean, we may like NOT being there, but being late still sucks...
The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has recently followed a trend that has been in effect in Japan already for some time. If there is a delay with transit that causes you to be late for work or school they will now write you a late note explaining the issue.
Express Line, the TTC is more than happy to provide written explanations and apologies to confirm a delay has occurred, and has impacted your journey. If your employer requires one, you can request an investigation and report by calling 416-393-3030, 7am-10pm, 7 days/week. ^RA🚀— TTC Customer Service (@TTChelps) November 16, 2017
This could possibly get you out of some serious trouble. The question is, should Edmonton follow suit? We do experience quite a bit of delays when it comes to the LRT.
Is this something you'd like to see or is it an environmental issue handing out that many late notes?
