#NationalGrilledCheeseDay - The Best Grilled Cheese You Will Ever Eat

Happy #NationalGrilledCheeseSandwichDay!

Obviously, I had to make one, and being a self-proclaimed grilled cheese connoisseur, I thought I'd share my GC tips with you!

 

Step 1)

THIS. *clap emoji* BREAD. *clap emoji*

SUPERSTORE MULTIGRAIN RYE.

It is the best ish you will ever have. I will legit go out of my way to buy this bread, EVEN if I go to Sobeys I'll go to Superstore to get this bread because NOTHING COMPARES. Yes it's the best for grilled cheeses but it's also the best for sandwiches, avo toast, and everything.

 

Step 2)

Butter both sides of the bread, duh.

I always use REAL BUTTER instead of Margarine because, like Kat said earlier today, Margarine is one step away from plastic. So F the cal count, go big or go home.... It's actually better for you! Less chemicals!

 

Step 3)

CHEESE, PESTO, AND ARUGULA. 

 

Self-Explanatory.

 

Step 4) GRILL!

I burnt mine a little bit because I wasn't used to my boyfriend's frying pan.... #UglyPhotosOfGoodFood.
