Virgin Radio Holiday Food Drive
101.3 Virgin Radio is partnering with Pete’s Frootique & Fine Foods to get HRM involved in a great cause this Christmas.
The Food drive kicked off at the 2018 Parade of Light, where Virgin Radio collected non-perishable food donations along the route!
You can now make a donation at Pete’s Frootique & Fine Foods in Sunnyside Mall, Bedford at anytime, or come out and see us, and drop off your donation when we broadcast live December 13th from Pete’s Frootique & Fine Foods in Bedford.
That holiday feeling is yours to give with The Virgin Radio Holiday Food Drive - Presented by Pete’s Frootique & Fine Foods!
Thousands of Nova Scotians get a helping hand thanks to the generosity of Feed Nova Scotia donors.
There are many ways you can make a difference.
Donate Food - Food donations are crucial to:
- Distribute 8,000 kg of food per day
- Reduce members' operating costs
- Give surplus food a greater purpose
- Shift the balance on food insecurity
Everyone should have access to fresh, nutritious food, and we’re always challenging ourselves to make that a reality for more Nova Scotians.
Donate Money - Financial donations allow Feed Nova Scotia to:
- Stock up on the most needed items
- Build capacity for thier membership
- Purchase fuel for thier trucks
- Raise awareness in the community
Every $2 donation means they can distribute enough food to provide 3 meals. When you support Feed Nova Scotia, you support 145 charities and not-for-profits.
