• Give a Kid a Coat

    Since 1998, Sleep Country’s Give a Kid a Coat Program benefiting The Salvation Army has provided thousands of Canadian children in need with proper winter clothing. Every November we collect new & gently used clean winter coats, hats and mittens at all our Sleep Country location across Canada. The Salvation Army distributes the coats to local children to ensure they stay warm throughout the winter. Make your donations at any local Sleep Country location.

    Join us this fall as we take steps to end blood cancer. This Walk is led by the Waterloo Oncology Pharmacy Intrest Group. Cancer has affected so many in our community, this night gives us an opportunity to come together and show our support. Please encourage your family, friends, coworkers, or anyone else you know to fundraise and walk with us carrying an illuminated lantern. A Community Walk is a Walk hosted by volunteers in the community. Individuals attending a Community walk can expect a wonderful time of solidarity and hope, but note this walk is not hosted by the LLSC.

    Regional Chair Ken Seiling has dedicated more than 40 years of his life to making Waterloo Region a beautiful place to live and work, including 33 years as Regional Chair. As he finishes his final term as Regional Chair, join us to honour all the great work he has done for our community. The proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Hospice of Waterloo Region's new building project.

    Ready to get your sweat on for a good cause? GoodLife Fitness clubs across Canada bring the party for Spin4Kids, a one-day indoor fitness fundraiser. Costumes, themes, special guests and prizes! Build your team of up to eight and join the fun by fundraising and participating in one hour of high energy group fitness classes like indoor cycling, Zumba, and BodyCOMBAT. No experience is needed and everyone is welcome! Grab your friends, family, workmates or gym buddies and raise a team total of $1,000 (or $125 per person) to help kids with special needs live healthy, happy, ACTIVE lives.
