BTS Kicks Off Tour In California
Fireworks, bouncy castles, and a zip-lining Jungkook – BTS kicked off the U.S. leg of its tour on Saturday night in front of an estimated 60,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The Korean pop group – which also consists of Jimin, V, RM, J-Hope, Suga and Jin – entered from behind a pair of panthers with glowing red eyes and opened the show with “Dionysus.” The four-song encore ended with “Mikrokosmos.”
In between were hits like “Boy With Luv,” “Fake Love” and “Idol.”
Among those in the crowd was Nick Jonas, according to his Instagram story. There was also at least one proposal (and it looks like she said "yes").
BTS was back at the Rose Bowl on Sunday night and will perform next in Chicago on May 11 and 12 and then in New Jersey on May 18 and 19. There are no Canadian dates on this tour.
