Did Prince Harry Introduce Meghan Markle To Queen?
Prince Harry recently introduced girlfriend Meghan Markle to Queen Elizabeth, a new report claims.
The face-to-face took place on Sept. 3, according to Us Weekly, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. It came on the heels of an African vacation the couple took.
“It went well,” the magazine quoted an unnamed source as saying. “He was able to introduce someone he loves to someone he cares for deeply.
“It’ll no doubt be the first of many encounters.”
Markle has a home near Dupont and Christie and is shooting Suits in at Downsview Park until November.
Handling Canadian money means she looks at the face of her boyfriend’s grandmother every day – but getting introduced to the Queen is seen as a precursor to a royal engagement.
Us Weekly reported that Harry has designed a ring using diamonds from a brooch that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana.
Needless to say, there's been no confirmation from Kensington Palace that Markle has met the Queen.
In an interview published this month in Vanity Fair, Markle said: “We’re two people who are really happy and in love.”
The Prince will be in Toronto later this month for the Invictus Games.
