Kendall Jenner Opens Up About Pepsi Ad Scandal

Kendall Jenner evidently felt like her life was over last April when her Pepsi ad caused a furor.

A trailer for the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians includes a scene in which Jenner is presumably talking to sister Kim Kardashian West about the controversy.

“It feels like my life is over,” she said. Kardashian responded: “You made a mistake.”

The commercial, which featured Jenner calming tensions at a protest by handing a can of Pepsi to a police officer, was criticized for appearing to trivialize social justice demonstrations, including those by Black Lives Matter.

Pepsi removed the spot and issued a statement in which the company admitted it “clearly missed the mark.

“We apologize. We did not intended to make light of any serious issue.”
