Kim Kardashian Facing $100 Million Lawsuit
TMZ reports that Kim K’s company is being sued over claims that her Lumee phone case is nothing but a copycat.
The $100 million lawsuit was filed on behalf of Hooshmand Harooni, who says he patented a light-up phone case in 2013 and licensed that patent to a company called Snaplight. The lawsuit claims that since the reality star’s endorsement of Lumee’s mobile accessory, Snaplight’s sales have plummeted as a result.
A rep from Kim’s camp told TMZ that this lawsuit is “just another attempted shakedown”.
