'Riverdale' Star KJ Apa Calls Vancouver 'Kind Of Boring'
Riverdale star KJ Apa said Wednesday he doesn’t think Vancouver is a ton of fun.
The 20-year-old New Zealand native, who plays Archie Andrews on the popular series, was asked about filming in Vancouver on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
“When you’re there for a long time it can get kind of boring,” he complained.
“The city’s not the biggest city in the world, everything kind of shuts early as well.”
Co-host Ryan Seacrest said: “It keeps you coming to work the next day.”
“Yeah, that’s right,” replied Apa, who did acknowledge “the food’s really good” in the city.
Apa made headlines this summer when he crashed his car on the way home from the Riverdale set. He was not injured but the incident sparked a union complaint about working hours.
