Ariana Grande has released Thank U, Next, her fifth album – and second in six months – at the same time as the video for “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored.”
Charles Melton (Riverdale) and model Ariel Yasmine star in the video, which was directed by Grande fave Hannah Lux Davis.
“Break up with your girlfriend / Yeah yeah ‘cause I’m bored / You can hit it in the morning / Yeah yeah like it’s yours,” Grande sings.
The sexy video has a twist ending that has some fans on social media debating whether the 25-year-old is making a statement about the fluidity of sexuality, or self-love, or “queer-bating.”
