    The Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s Breakfast to Remember, presented by Trillium Boutique Senior Living, is an opportunity for members of the community across sectors in Victoria to have breakfast, network and take a leading role in mobilizing support for people affected by dementia. Guests will enjoy breakfast while hearing from dementia researcher Tomiko Yoneda to fund dementia education, support services and research in B.C. Help break stigma and build a dementia-friendly province.
  • Monopoly Affair

    The Monopoly Affair is one of the Canadian Cancer Society’s signature fundraising events on Vancouver Island that makes a difference. Organized by a group of dedicated business and community leaders The Monopoly Affair is a hip, upscale night of fun. Everyone will be dressed in Vaudeville cocktail style, just like a good ol’ Gatsby party. Tables of six players are led by a Banker in a 90minute tournament-style game of Monopoly. Some will go to Jail, some will go bankrupt, and someone will walk away the grand prize winner.

    Royal OnStage presents National Geographic Live Into the Artic Kingdom with Florian Schulz. His multi-year quest to document the Arctic took photographer Florian Schulz to the ends of the Earth. He camped for weeks in jarring winter conditions, accompanied traditional Inuit hunters and sailed the arctic waters, all to get an intimate look at life in the Arctic. There, he tracked families of polar bears, followed the vast caribou herds, and captured the Northern Lights in stunning detail. Through breathtaking imagery, the National Geographic photographer takes audiences on a legendary journey into the Arctic kingdom— with a special focus on the Arctic Refuge, one of the world's last great wilderness.
  • KidSport Rowing Challenge

    VRS boathouse- 5100 Pat Bay Hwy
    Challenge yourself, your friend and colleagues to learn to row, work as a team and enjoy the beaty of Elk and Beaver lake, while fundraising for KidSport Greater Victoria. Participants will learn the basics of the sport of rowing or build on already existing experience. From movements, safety and boathandeling to teamworking skills. The program will prepare crews for a skills event, that includes balancing, steering and turning the boat, and a timed distance event over 500m. All of this while fundraising for KidSport Victoria’s to give more children have access to sport, and the values and skills that sport teaches them.
  • Oak Bay Half Marathon

    The Oak Bay Half-Marathon, Relay, 10k & Kids 1k is one of BC's most scenic running events. Starting at the beautiful Windsor Park in Oak Bay and winding its way through the heart of Oak Bay's shopping district the course then loops out and back along the scenic seaside route of Beach Drive. The course is certified.

    The TD Victoria International JazzFest is a ten-day music festival featuring the jazz, blues and world music of local, Canadian, and internationally acclaimed musicians. The longest running multi-day professional music festival serving audiences on Vancouver Island, TD JazzFest offers its devoted audience a wide scope of programming comparable to much larger festivals in significantly larger urban areas. Since its inception the festival has been presented and produced by the Victoria Jazz Society.
