Recall on Fisher-Price sleeping chairs
Fisher-Price has voluntarily recalled some of their infant sleeping chairs, which were sold exclusively on Amazon.
Health Canada has linked the “Rock ‘n Play” chair to the deaths of 30+ children in the US. This includes four models: GGD42, DMJ23, CMP94 and the Fisher-Price Deluxe Auto Rock 'n Play Sleeper. You can find the model number of each product on the side of one of the round hubs on the chair’s frame.
Health Canada said the chairs don’t meet Canada’s Cribs, Cradles and Bassinets Regulations.
There were about 600 units sold on Amazon.ca. If you purchased one, you’re told to stop using it right away and contact Amazon for a full refund.
Putting safety first, in partnership with the CPSC, Fisher-Price issued a voluntary recall of our Rock ‘n Play Sleepers. All product use should be discontinued. Learn more at https://t.co/7D8jTEmLxs pic.twitter.com/EqkWW4QXjl— Fisher-Price® (@FisherPrice) April 12, 2019
