RIP Free parking in Victoria
The City of Victoria will begin charging for on-street parking on Sundays as of May 1. Metered parking on Sundays will improve turnover for on-street parking customers and will generate new revenue to fund BC Transit passes for Victoria youth in the fall. Parking at the City’s five parkades will continue to be FREE after 6 p.m., all day Sundays and holidays, with the first hour always free.
Starting today, pay parking at on-street meters is in effect DAILY 9-6. SUN on-street metered parking will have 4-HR LIMIT for $2/hr in 90-min zones & $1/hr in other areas. Facebook rolls out new "Secret Crush" feature for dating
“Secret Crush,” as the feature is called, lets you express interest in up to nine friends. If that friend has opted into Facebook Dating and likes you back, they get a notification saying someone likes them. If they pick you as one of their secret crushes, you both get notified.

Alex Trebek does first interview since his cancer diagnosis
