Metallica Offering #MetallicaMonday To Fans After Tour Cancellation


Not shocking that Metallica is going to have to postpone some tour dates, but they're making up for the disappointment.

The band announced that they will be cancelling their Spring tour dates due to the uncertainty of COVID-19.

"In our nearly 40 years of touring, we’ve had a few mishaps along the way: broken bones, trashed appendixes, a pyro mishap, backs thrown out, crazy weather, food poisoning (beware of the oysters!), and even one way-next-level anxiety attack! None of it has ever stopped us, but this is obviously a very different time, and leaving the house now literally means taking your life in your hands. Unfortunately, that means we have to stay away from each other for the foreseeable future before we can start thinking about ‘Tallica Family reunions around the world.” (via

However, in true Metallica form they're making it up to fans and launched a concert series called #MetallicaMonday last night.

They'll be streaming complete Metallica concert videos for fans all over the world to enjoy every Monday, 8pm EST on their YouTube channel or Facebook page every week!
