Watch: Edmonton looks different in this promotional video for the NHL
Edmonton is still in the running to be a hub hosting city for the NHL playoffs. Alberta Premier Jason Kenny whipped up this highlight reel of our beautiful city. I should rephrase that, highlight reel of a beautiful city, not ours but its like 3hrs away. lol
It’s the obvious choice to bring the @NHL to #Edmonton.— Jason Kenney (@jkenney) June 22, 2020
We look forward to welcoming the league and players here to Alberta to take in the beautiful province we have to offer. pic.twitter.com/kp0iN86vCP
To be fair, it's more than just keeping the players happy. It needs to be a positive environment for the athlete's families as well. Hosting these playoffs would help Alberta Tourism at the same time. IF the laws change and American citizens are allowed in the the National Parks. It's against the law, right now June 21, 2020 @9pm. See below for hub city highlights Edmonton can provide.
