• Haunted History guided Walk

    Brockville Museum offers a stroll through Brockville’s haunting past. Ghosts, graveyards, and gruesome tales. The Brockville Museum invites you to explore a darker side of Brockville’s history this fall with their Haunting Histories guided walk. The walks will run Fridays this September and October, starting September 11th and wrapping up just in time for Halloween, on October 30th.The guided walk covers a distance of 3km through the oldest parts of Brockville, starting and ending at the Brockville Museum, and lasting about 90 minutes. The Friday evening walks will depart at 4p.m., with a limited capacity of 12 participants. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the Brockville Arts Centre Box Office and are$10/person. Private Walks are also available. These walks are only offered Tuesday thru Saturday and must be reserved in advance.

  • Brockville Culture Days

    Brockville Culture Days is back for a sixth year in 2020 with a slightly augmented format and a new, expanded duration. This year Culture Days will run until Sunday October 25th. As well Culture Days has bolstered their online platform to accommodate a move to a digital delivery of events and content to compensate for the challenges presented by the COVID 19 pandemic. We have seven live-streamed concerts being offered in conjunction/partnership with Brockville Culture Days. Both the Upper Canada Musicians’ Association and the Brockville Concert Association were kind enough to allow us to link with their live streamed concerts. Check out culture days dot CA for info.

    Tins of Squares made by Athens United Church will be available by pre-order only. Call 613 924 2175 before Nov 14th to order. Pickup will be between 11 and 2 on Nov 21st at the church. Prices vary from $10 to $30.
  • Upper Canada Musicians Association Presents

    Starting on Sept 7th through to Oct 26th every Monday night at 8:00 pm the Upper Canada Musicians Association will be hosting a series of 8 one hour long live performances “Live Streamed” on Facebook for free. The shows will be hosted from the main stage at St. John’s United Church in Brockville. The following are the list of performers and the dates they will be appearing: (Performers and dates are subject to change.) Mon. Oct 19th, 2020 -Wendell Ferguson and Steve Piticco; Mon. Oct 26th, 2020 - Terry O’Reilly (The Crooners) With the recent changes in our day to day lives, musicians have been hit really hard connecting with their fans.
  • Geneaological Society Meeting

    Online Presentation to the Leeds & Grenville Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society, on Friday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm. Join the Leeds & Grenville Branch as they hear from Susan Warren about “The Irish and the Rideau Canal”. The Irish not only helped build the Rideau Canal but contributed significantly to the development of Leeds and Grenville.
