• Common Ground Fundraiser at Giant Tiger

    Common Ground is located at 25 Front Avenue, W. Brockville Monday - Friday open at 10:00, lunch is served at no cost from 11:00 - 12:15. Anyone is welcome to come and eat, this is a safe place for all! Common Ground is mainly supported by The Pier Church and through donations from the community. Sept 30th - October 15th Brockville Giant Tiger will be doing a fundraiser for Common Ground. For the two weeks every customer will have the opportunity as they cash out to give a $2.00 donation. The total that is raised in the fundraiser will go to Common Ground for purchasing food to run the program, a free lunch Monday - Friday, all are welcome!

    The final charity Car wash and BBQ at Brockville Hyundai is this Saturday from 10 – 3. This week it’s Youth Opportunities in the Arts washing your car and cooking up Burgers and hot dogs.
  • 41st annual Autumn Festival

    The Annual Autumn Festival is a fun family event offering activities for all ages to enjoy. The craft show and sale highlights many local artisans featuring handcrafted items, like homemade jewelry, paintings by local artists, wooden items, alpaca products, bark baskets, and more. Local farm goods, cheese curd, local maple and honey products are for sale. Musical entertainment is provided by the Fort Drum Band and other musicians throughout the day. Birds of Prey and dog sled demonstrations provide opportunities to see these animals up close. There are alpacas to visit, children's games, face painting, pumpkin painting, and opportunities to learn about local non-profit agencies who have hand-on activities that pertain to their agency. There are apple cider press demonstrations with Burrville cider and cider donuts. The Scarecrow Gallery has all the materials to create your own scarecrow with monetary prizes for the most creative. Delicious food is available from 2 food vendors throughout the day. There are wagon rides available from the Festival grounds to the newly renovated Nature Center. Come and enjoy the beauties of fall on Wellesley Island.
  • Town Hall Terror

    "Town Hall Terror" starts Oct 5th from 7 - 10 pm and runs every Saturday in October at the Prescott Town Hall, 2nd Floor, 360 Dibble St. W, Prescott. This year the event supports the Prescott Food Bank and the Prescott Community Centre. The Charge is $5 for adults and 12 and under $2. and you are encouraged to bring a food item as well.     The YMCA Community Lunch is Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 11:30 am-1:00 pm is at the YMCA of Brockville and Area, 345 Park St. Lunch is from Luna Pizzeria and will be 2 slices of pizza, salad and dessert. Cost $7. Takeout Available. All proceeds to the YMCA's 2019 Strong Kids Annual Giving Campaign
