  • Haunted History guided Walk

    The Brockville Museum Haunting Histories guided walks are sold out for the final two walks. If you have a group and would like to do this, please contact the Museum to arrange a day and time. Groups are limited to 12 persons - tickets are $10/person.

  • Brockville Culture Days

    Brockville Culture Days is back for a sixth year in 2020 with a slightly augmented format and a new, expanded duration. This year Culture Days will run until Sunday October 25th. As well Culture Days has bolstered their online platform to accommodate a move to a digital delivery of events and content to compensate for the challenges presented by the COVID 19 pandemic. We have seven live-streamed concerts being offered in conjunction/partnership with Brockville Culture Days. Both the Upper Canada Musicians’ Association and the Brockville Concert Association were kind enough to allow us to link with their live streamed concerts. Check out culture days dot CA for info.
  • Tins of Squares Athens United Church

    Tins of Squares made by Athens United Church will be available by pre-order only. Call 613 924 2175 before Nov 14th to order. Pickup will be between 11 and 2 on Nov 21st at the church. Prices vary from $10 to $30.
  • Upper Canada Musicians Association Presents

    Starting on Sept 7th through to Oct 26th every Monday night at 8:00 pm the Upper Canada Musicians Association will be hosting a series of 8 one hour long live performances “Live Streamed” on Facebook for free. The shows will be hosted from the main stage at St. John’s United Church in Brockville. The following are the list of performers and the dates they will be appearing: (Performers and dates are subject to change.) Mon. Oct 19th, 2020 -Wendell Ferguson and Steve Piticco; Mon. Oct 26th, 2020 - Terry O’Reilly (The Crooners) With the recent changes in our day to day lives, musicians have been hit really hard connecting with their fans.
  • Truck or Treat Drive Thru

    Family celebrations in 2020 look a bit different this year including Halloween. Centennial Road Church, Upper Canada Youth For Christ and several community supporters are working together to provide a Drive -Thru Trunk or Treat performance experience that celebrates HOPE, family fun and community even in the most challenging of times . To ensure the health and safety of trunk performers, volunteers and experience guests both trunk performers and guests will pre-register. What is Trunk or Treat? A safe ridiculously FUN one stop “trick or treating” experience. When is Trunk or Treat? October 31st, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Where is Trunk or Treat?   • Geneaological Society Meeting

    Online Presentation to the Leeds & Grenville Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society, on Friday, October 23rd at 7:00 pm. Join the Leeds & Grenville Branch as they hear from Susan Warren about “The Irish and the Rideau Canal”. The Irish not only helped build the Rideau Canal but contributed significantly to the development of Leeds and Grenville. Using original paintings and original documents this presentation will explore those themes.   • St. Lawrence Hallows

    Concert Organists Jeff Reusing and John Siderius present "StLawrenceHallows", a virtual Halloween concert available on October 29th at 7 pm. and it will be up for a week. Both men are residents of Brockville and they will be joined by Jan Piehl on cello as they present creepy, fiery and silly music for Halloween. Watch those feet fly! Jeff will be playing the magnificent 3 manual Casavant organ at Saint Lawrence Anglican Church in Brockville where he has been the Music Director since 1998. Brockvillle native, John moved back to Brockville this summer and will be playing from home on a fantastic new 2 manual Rodgers organ. He was also Director of Music in the same post here in the 1980s.
