A "soaker" of a storm is on the way, according to Environment Canada.

We are under a rainfall warning and a freezing rain warning, as forecasts show a nasty winter storm rolling in today into tomorrow.

Rain, freezing rain, ice pellets at times this evening and snow by Sunday morning are all possible during the storm.

Both warnings have been issued in Brockville, Prescott, Gananoque, Mallorytown, Leeds-Grenville, Merrickville-Wolford - Kemptville and Westport - Charleston Lake.

Similar warnings have been issued from Ottawa to Kingston and the GTA as the storm is far-reaching.

Brockville should expect anywhere from 20 to 20mm of rain by this evening.

Freezing rain will continue into tonight, along with ice pellets at times. Ice build up of 10 to 20mm is possible.

Sunday morning, Brockville will see a combination of ice pellets, freezing rain, and snow. Between 2 to 4cm of snow and ice will fall before ending with a mix of sun and cloud.

They say travel will be difficult during this time, and warn power outages are also possible.

Hydro One says they are preparing for the storm and will work to keep residents updated should any outages happen.
