The Brockville Music and Arts Hall of Fame is looking for nominees for it's 2020 awards.

In a release Thursday, the Brockville & Area Music & Performing Arts Hall of Fame Committee says this year's categories include teachers, musicians, actors and actresses, band and performing group or ensemble, as well as those in production and behind the scenes. They are also looking for nominees in the deceased category.

To qualify a person should live in the area from Escott in the west to Cardinal in the east and north to Toledo.

Last year Alex Fleuriau Chateau, Reg Francis, Brenda Lewis and the Thousand Islanders Barbershop Chorus were just some of those inducted into the Hall.

The Committee is accepting nominations now until February 21. You can email Bruce Wylie at bruce.wylie@bellmedia.ca for a nomination form.  The living members of the Hall of Fame will then vote to decide who the 2020 inductees will be.

The 15th annual Brockville & Area Music & Performing Arts Hall of Fame is Thursday, March 26 at the Brockville Arts Centre.
