UPDATE: Cancellations For February 12

Cancellations are building as Eastern Ontario braces for a major winter storm.


The Brockville Public Library has closed early.

The YMCA of Brockville says their Licenced Child Care at 3pm, and they will close early at 6pm.

Loaves and Fishes is closing this evening due to the storm.

Coles Bookstore in the 1000 Islands Mall will be closing at 5 p.m.



UPDATE: St. Lawrence College has cancelled classes on all it's campuses which start after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Student Transportation Authority of Eastern Ontario has cancelled buses for the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic School Board of Eastern Ontario.

The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario schools and Upper Canada District School Board have closed it's schools and board offices. (as of 7a.m.)

The Brockville YMCA has cancelled it's School Age Program for Tuesday, as well as all of it's registered and drop-in evening activities.

EarlyON Centres in Prescott and Brockville will close at 12 p.m., according to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.




The protest planned for today by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation outside Brockville City Hall has been cancelled.

The city says the Active Transportation Plan meeting and event at the Brockville Public Library is being postponed. There is no official rescheduling date at this time.

Gananoque Police say that their weekly trip to Stingers has been cancelled tonight.


There's a City-Wide Extended Parking in effect Tuesday. The City says anyone found parking on the street anywhere in the city after 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. will be fined or towed.

The Toronto and Ottawa Airports are reporting a number of cancellations. Check on your flight status before hitting the road.
