CFRA Live – As Ontario businesses return to full-capacity, how do we avoid a future COVID flareup?

The Doug Ford government unveiled a gradual reopening approach for the province of Ontario on Friday afternoon. If we play our cards right, the remaining public health and workplace safety measures could become a thing of the past by March 28, 2022. However, several key factors could put a dent into these reopening stages at any given time, such as the emergence of new variants and sharp increases of new cases. Ontario’s Premier is confident that this game plan will help the province manage COVID levels and avoid lockdowns, especially throughout the Winter months. What else do we need to keep in mind as we move forward? Dr. Peter Juni is an epidemiologist and the Scientific Director of Ontario’s COVID-19 Science Advisory Table.
