A handful of city councilors in Canada’s Capital showed their support for a petition to rename the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway. Albert Dumont, who co-authored the petition that has gained traction in recent weeks, is a member of the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation (Algonquin) group. While he was the first Prime Minister in Canadian history, and one of the main faces responsible for uniting the country, Albert doesn’t see Sir John A. MacDonald as a hero. He joins Andrew Pinsent on CFRA Live.
