Fortunately, they succeeded, but that hill is still a mighty one to climb. A few months ago, Ottawa was fighting for position in the East Division, led by quarterback Dustin Crum’s sudden surge. A series of one-score defeats has turned that modest 3-3 record into an ugly 4-10 resume, highlighted by the B.C. Lions’ script-flipping a 19-point deficit into a 4-point triumph.
