OAW: Local students connect with US astronaut on ISS via ham radio
St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School students in grade 9 science are getting a unique opportunity through the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station, or ARISS, program.
Mac and Ellie are among the students who will be speaking with US astronaut Warren Hoburg live via the radio, connected through Alberta, to learn more about science, life in space, and more!
The girls joined Patricia Boal to talk about the opportunity and what they're hoping to learn.
