Ottawa Now – After lending a helping hand to Canadians, Vaccine Hunters Canada gets ready to wind down its services
After thousands of everyday Canadians found themselves in a desperate search to find COVID vaccine appointments, the idea that turned into Vaccine Hunters Canada was born. A Twitter account and official website went up in the spring to help with this initiative, driven by volunteers. It was announced on Monday they will be winding down their operations, as the majority of Canadians are now fully-vaccinated and the demand for appointments drops.
