Ottawa Now – Country-wide backlog for medical imaging still piling up two years after COVID’s emergence
Two years into a global pandemic, patients continue to suffer lengthy wait times for medical imaging. These backlogs continue to get worse across the country, with wait times prior to COVID-19 sometimes reaching 89 days for MRIs and 82 days for CT scans.
