Ottawa Now – Kingston announces new restrictions as COVID cases climb
During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, a handful of places around the world managed to hold back the spread of the virus. Here in Ontario, a shining example was Kingston, but that has changed with a recent resurgence of the virus. Kingston’s Medical Officer of Health says private gatherings have accounted for at least half of their rising case counts, and the city hopes that a ten-person cap on these gatherings will help turn things around.
