The Canadian Cancer Society is warning that delays in surgeries for cancer patients can be devastating, with one study saying a four-week delay in cancer treatment increases the risk of death by roughly 10 percent. Marie-Louise Doyle is the Executive Director of Breast Cancer Action, an Ottawa-based support group. She joins Kristy Cameron to explain the bigger picture on Ottawa Now.
