Ottawa Now – Renfrew County tries to tackle Ontario’s family doctor shortage

More than 2 million Ontarians are searching for a family doctor, a statistic which has ballooned in recent years. Since the early days of COVID-19, Renfrew County’s Paramedic Service has been using a hybrid model of care, a short-term pilot project designed to fight against the shortage.
