Ottawa’s LRT system has received plenty of criticism over the years. When it opened in 2019, it wasn’t on time, and it wasn’t on budget. But what about today’s on-time performance by OC Transpo? Is it cutting the mustard these days? As it turns out, it’s nowhere close to meeting expectations, according to the latest numbers. In fact, 40 percent of the city’s busiest buses are not on time, and the definition of tardiness can range from a few minutes to something much worse.
