Police search at a home in Oakwood-Vaughan neighbourhood nets multiple weapons

Toronto Police made a major gun bust Friday that netted several firearms. 

Police executed a a criminal code search warrant on a home in the Rogers Road and Oakwood Avenue area at about 5:30 p.m. last Friday night.

A JR Carbine Glock 9 mm semi-automatic rifle and 24 rounds of ammunition were seized in the search.

In total six people were arrested and charged in connection to the guns, including four teenagers.

42-year-old Howard Moore, 41-year-old Maria Moore and the four teens, an 18-year-old, two 17-year olds and a 16-year-old, are all facing multiple weapons charges, including unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of firearm obtained by crime.

All of the accused appeared in court Saturday.
