Ottawa Fury FC moving to different league

The Ottawa Fury FC is changing leagues.

The team announced today it is moving to the United Soccer League, leaving the North American Soccer League behind.

The move is a temporary downgrade from Division 2 to Division 3, though that distinction may change before the Fury plays its first USL game.

Currently NASL is D2. USL D3. USL expects to have D2 status approved by the end of the year.

The USL is considered to be more financially stable.

Ottawa Fury FC losing 2M/year in NASL. Everyone else losing more. League dues close to 1M. Propping up teams like FTL. Fighting USSF.

Should note that the average NASL team loses 5M/ year. With some losing close to 10M.
