Meantime, Dr. Kwadwo Kyeremanteng says this COVID-19 spike is because of the Christmas season, and feels confident we will see the numbers go down again soon. Ottawa Bylaw says ‘close to 500 verbal warnings’ were issued by officers this past weekend for violations of COVID-19 protocols, particularly at skating rinks and toboggan hills.
