Ottawa Now – If the Coronavirus escalates further, would Canada’s hospitals be able to handle an influx of people?

So far on Tuesday, at least one new case of Coronavirus has been confirmed in Canada. We now have more than two dozen cases confirmed in Ontario, more than two dozen in British Columbia, over a dozen in Alberta, and at least four in Quebec. On Wednesday, Air Canada will suspend all flights between Canada and Italy, whose hospitals are already overburdened and overcrowded. If our country was hit this hard by the virus, are Canada’s hospitals equipped to handle an influx of people?
