Ottawa Now – ‘Out of all the things that we're hanging onto…it's the vaccination’: Ottawa Hospital says its clinic will be pausing COVID-19 vaccine operations as of Saturday due to a shortage of doses
Ottawa’s COVID-19 cases are climbing fast. Canada’s Capital reported 210 new cases of the virus on Friday. Our positivity rate has climbed to 4.7 percent, an alarming increase compared to what it was a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, the Ottawa Hospital says its clinic will be pausing COVID-19 vaccine operations as of Saturday because it won’t have enough doses to keep up. This news left Dr. Kwadwo Kyeremanteng, an intensive and palliative care physician at the Ottawa and Montfort Hospitals, disappointed. He joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
