A severe bus shortage in Ottawa has put the brakes on thirty school bus routes. Vicky Kyriaco, the General Manager of the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority, says 146 routes have had to be modified, and that some routes could be cancelled at the last minute. This news has impacted over 2,300 students across 45 schools in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and the Ottawa Catholic School Board. As CTV Ottawa reporter Jeremie Charron explains to Kristy Cameron on Ottawa Now, some parents say this information could have greatly impacted their decision to send their kids to school for in-person learning.
