Ottawa reported an additional 179 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, as the infection rate continues to climb. We are firmly planted in the Red Zone category and the city’s top doctor warns that the Grey Zone is in sight if things don’t get better. On the eve of the new stay-at-home orders, which are set to be implemented at 12:01am on Thursday, some are wondering if it’s too late. Dr. Lisa Fischer, an ER doctor in Canada’s Capital, says everything has been flipped upside down due to COVID-19, and fears the new measures implemented by Premier Doug Ford might not be enough to turn the tide.
