Worker suffers electrical burns on Elgin

Ottawa Paramedics say a 39-year-old worker was rushed to hospital Thursday morning after he was injured at a construction site on Elgin.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at 160 Elgin Street around 5:30 a.m., where the man suffered a first degree thermal burn to both arms from an electrical flash.

He was stable when he arrived at the burn unit.
